Green Bones

I've been thinking a lot recently about the green bones that my people keep throwing to me. They are the shape of a straight stick, made of interwoven green stuff. I do not like green bones. Sometimes I choose to try them again to appease my people, and to give them a new chance. I chew them in secret under the table so my people won't be disappointed. But then I stop chewing them.



I like fresh bones with meat attached much better.

My Third Favorite Spot

Here is my 3rd favorite spot in the house.

A quick snack in the kitchen

It's the corner of the kitchen by the sink and the oven. My second favorite spot is also in the kitchen, but I'll talk more about that another day.

Almost every day my momma or Mayli or someone else will make food warm or cold, or pull food out of the fridge. Sometimes if I look at them longingly they will let me taste test the food. I like to eat food. 

From the kitchen, I can hear when people come in and out of the house. I can see when people sit down at my favorite second spot. I can scrounge for food from off the floor. I can watch people come and go.

It also smells good.
